The Labor Link More Japan in Guanajuato seeks to offer 1,500 wortk opportunities in a space with 170 companies of Mexican and Japanese origin

The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, inaugurated the “Labor Link More Japan in Guanajuato” event, a space that gathers 170 Mexican and Japanese companies already working in Guanajuato.
Participating companies offer jobs to 1,500 job seekers. “One of the things that Japanese people like most about people from Guanajuato is that they want to grow and improve themselves”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“Here we do support companies, but the ones we want to come to Guanajuato. Which companies do we want?, the ones that pay the kids better and have better working conditions for them,” said tghe Governor.
This event was held in the Velaria of the Leon Fair, through the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development –SDES-, in this space, the people of Guanajuato received personalized attention from representatives of the different companies participating, 92 of Mexican origin and 78 of Japanese origin.
With the “Labor Link More Japan in Guanajuato”, direct attention is established with companies located in Guanajuato; there is knowledge of the real needs of the labor market; profiles demanded by the labor market are updated; and the placement possibilities of job seekers increase.
Japan is the first trading partner of Guanajuato, where there is a record of 133 companies from that country settled in Guanajuato, and almost 7 billion dollars have been committed in investments to generate almost 46 thousand jobs, said the Governor.
The labor demand is divided into three main profiles:
- Operational, administrative, and services and sales
The operational positions are for job applicants of both sexes, the age ranges from 18 to 45 years, with basic schooling, approximate salary of 6,500 to 9,000 pesos per month, with or without experience.
For administrators, the age ranges from 20 to 47 years, with a student profile, higher university technician and graduates or engineers, with a salary of between 10 thousand to 23 thousand pesos per month, with skills in:
- Computer science, English, and skills related with emotional intelligence, critical thinking, leadership, resilience or change management; besides customer service
And the service and sales staff, aged 18 to 50 years, with a profile from high school to bachelor’s degree, with a salary of between 8 thousand to 25 thousand pesos per month, with skills in:
- Ease of speech, customer service, computer science, stress management and leadership
“Look for a job that gives you that opportunity for growth, take advantage of it, you will have the opportunity to grow in these companies and why not, soon be the CEOs of these companies,” said Rodriguez Vallejo.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Consul General of Japan in Leon, Katsumi Itagaki; Ramon Alfaro Gomez, Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development; and Takashi Imanishi, Vice President of the Guanajuato Branch of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mexico.
