On a work tour, the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, started, supervised and delivered road and educational infrastructure works for the benefit of Leoneses.
The Governor supervised the construction work of the vehicular bridge over the railroad tracks on the road to Santa Ana del Conde, where more than 240 million pesos were invested to modernize a length of 1.78 kilometers of this road.
The work will directly benefit more than 16 thousand people who live in towns around Santa Ana del Conde, El Resplandor and the urban area of Leon, as well as more than 10 thousand motorists who go through this area every day. The work began last September and is currently 31% complete and could be finished next July.
The Governor started with the construction works on Bulevar Timoteo Lozano, in the Santa Ana-El Mayorazgo-La Laborcita section, where 113.5 million pesos will be invested.
A 1.1 kilometer long road will be built, with 6 traffic lanes, 3 each way. This boulevard could be completed next August to benefit one million 200 thousand inhabitants.
The Governor of Guanajuato laid the first stone for the construction of a newly created and fully equipped elementary school in the Nuevo San Nicolas neighborhood, in which 21.5 million pesos will be invested.
“The best legacy we can leave our children is education, that is why we continue to focus on promoting more education infrastructure,” said the Governor.
Then the Governor led the regional delivery ceremony for equipment from the Mi Plaza Program. Support was given to 592 economic units, with an investment of 1.5 million pesos.
As a form of supports merchants received tables and scales, grills, tricycles, hand dolly, among many other tools that improve the productivity of merchants, allowing them to offer better service to their customers.
“During this Administration, unprecedented support has been given to merchants, because they are pillars of our State’s economy”, said the Governor.
Mayor of Leon, Alejandra Gutierrez Campos was with the Governor during his work tour of Leon.
