This will be the most modern Nestle-Purina plant in Latin america as this State Administration has now acomplished 40% of the six year term goal of investment

As Nestle-Purina announced 160 million dollars of investment to increase the production capacity of its plant at Guanajuato Puerto Interior, global companies ratify their trust in Guanajuato, said the Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
On its feet
“On behalf of the Guanajuatenses I want to say, thanks Nestle-Purina, this is great news, while in other places unfortunately investment is inhibited, Guanajuato does not stop, Guanajuato is on its feet generating more jobs, more wealth and well being for its people”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
The investment that was announced by this global company, a leader in pet-food production and also in food for all the family, consolidates the Silao plant as the most modern in Latin America; besides it will generate 1,700 jobs in the process of construction and equipment; as well as more than 500 jobs.
Buying from locals
The State Governor noted that Nestle-Purina, in order to strengthen its self-sufficiency of supply for its own production is planning to buy 150 thousand tons of corn in the local market, which will benefit more than 2 thousand Guanajuatense producers.
“No doubt the Guanajuato formula is working within the pandemic, this formula is very simple, it is a great alliance between society and government, framed by the Rule of Law for the generation of more jobs; people from Guanajuato want to work, they want to produce, they want to generate jobs and well being, besides we are allies of entrepreneurs”, said the Governor.
Building trust
These results, said the Governor, reflect in trust of more companies to arrive in Guanajuato, since two years into the State Administration, in the matter of attracting investment more than 2 thousand million dollars have arrived in the State, this represents 40 per cent of the term’s goal of more than 5 thousand million dollars.
“The best years are yet to come for Guanajuato, because we have the best health system, we have the lowest mortality rate in Covid 19, we maintain in the yellow the color for activities and that allows us to keep open more sectors of the economy, besides it permits Guanajuato not to stop”, said the Governor.
The Rule of Law
“I want to note the trust of Nestle-Purina in Guanajuato, we will not fail, we will go on the same road of the Rule of Law, we are a State in which investors can trust, because it doesn´t matter if the Governors change, or the Secretaries; the commitments made by the State Government will be fulfilled and respected”, noted the Governor.
“We have the best trained and more hard-working people in Mexico, the human capital is the most important of this State”, said RodriguezVallejo. “In Guanajuato, since we are children our fathers teach us to work, to not just hold out our hand to receive something, but to hold up our hand and get to work, that is the DNA of the Guanajuatense, of hard working people, who want to succeed through effort and hard work”, said the Governor.
