The Tianguis Turistico Merida attracted 200 buyers both, national and international and they lived great stories with the gastronomy presented by the delegation of Guanajuato in the 45th edition of the Tourist Market at Merida called “Tourism is Reborn”.
Juan Jose Alvarez Brunel, the Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato welcomed the guests and invited them to taste the “marvelous gastronomy and drinks cooked and prepared with passion and love in all tourist destinations in Guanajuato”
Guanajuato offered a menu with:
Pumpkin flowers, cottage cheese from Cristo Rey, chile chorro sauce from Dolores Hidalgo; smoked meat with nolapes from Santa Rosa and strawberries from Irapuato; also mezcal jelly from Jaral de Berrios.
They also served camaronero tamale, yellow corn cobs from San Francisco del Rincon, smoked chiles, cajeta from Celaya, mamey maceta, membrillo crunch and coffee.
Guests enjoyed wine from:
- Guanajuato de Cuna de Tierra from Dolores Hidalgo
- Mixes from the restaurant Santero from the Magic Town of Salvatierra
