The Secretary of Security and Peace reaffirms its commitment to the citizens by maintaining an active presence at the 2026 Leon State Fair, one of the most important family gatherings in Guanajuato.

With 128 members of the State Public Security Forces (FSPE) deployed inside and outside the venue, the work is not only to guarantee the safety of the attendees, but also to live closely with the population, strengthening trust and the bond with the community.

“A 100% family-friendly fair where children, teenagers, and adults can be together, and feel like they are at a real fair, have fun, and experience the warmth of the people of Guanajuato, feel safe, and know that we are working to provide a healthy and inclusive environment,” said Juan Mauro Gonzalez, Secretary of Security and Peace.
For almost a month, the agency will have a presence with several stands; you can play with Fespo and you can purchase products made by the hands of people deprived of their liberty, which promotes their social reintegration, demonstrating that second chances do work.

At the entrance to the State Fair of Leon, within the Leon Mx District, there are some patrols of the State Highway Police, the Rural Police and the FSPE, which maintain a presence at the facilities so that citizens can greet them, get on the units and talk with them.
Inside Poliforum Leon is the People’s Pavilion, where the Undersecretary of Prevention has a stand for “Fespo and the Super League of Health”, which welcome students and the general public to begin a dynamic on conflict resolution and violence prevention.

Learning to deal with conflicts, talking before using violence, and making good decisions are some of the challenges faced by those participating in the stand of the Undersecretary of Prevention.
Through an interactive game on screens, Fespo, the animated mascot of the FSPE, will help you make the best decision for a violence-free environment. Afterward, prevention specialists from the Undersecretary explain to the children which answers were correct or incorrect.

For the second time, the project “Artisans of the New Beginning” is exhibiting and selling products made by 60 inmates from the eleven State Centers for Prevention and Social Reintegration in Guanajuato (Cepreresos). The stand is located in the central area, in front of Hall C2, stand 34.

Members of the State Public Security Forces (FSPE) as well as the State Institute of Public Security Training (Infospe) will be at the People’s Pavilion during the State Fair of Leon, Hall C3 Stand 239, presenting the academic programs, the requirements and sharing their experience for anyone interested in joining the corps.
