This sector carries the name of Guanajuato to the world. And without a doubt, CICEG has been a key player in this development”, said Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo.

Its work has been crucial in consolidating Leon as a national and international leader in the leather, footwear, and fashion sector, and it is The Footwear Capital of the World.
“But beyond the numbers, what is truly valuable is the human face of this industry. It is the workers, the entrepreneurs, who demonstrate day after day that the talent of Guanajuato has no limits,” said Libia.

“Juan Carlos has shown us that being the third generation of a family with a long tradition in shoemaking guarantees that the Chamber’s work has direction and a future. Congratulations also to your entire team. From now on, I extend my sincere hand and reiterate this State government’s willingness to partner with you. Your leadership has been marked by commitment, the defense of the sector’s interests, and the ability to face complex challenges in a demanding global environment,” told Libia to President of CICEG, Juan Carlos Cashat Usabiaga.
