The People’s Government, through the Tu Puedes Guanajuato Financial and Support Agency, reaches the heart of the State’s markets and flea markets to offer more accessible and secure credit alternatives.

Ivon Padilla Hernandez, General Director of the Guanajuato Finance Corporation, insisted that this strategy, with the vision of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, is designed to enable more Guanajuatenses to invest in their businesses, sell more, and strengthen their family finances.

“We’re here to tell you what we’re doing, through the People’s Government, the State government, and what Governor Libia Dennise has sent us to tell you. You’re not alone! You can count on this financial institution, which brings you great benefits so you can boost your business and grow it with nine financing options that offer significant advantages,” said Padilla.
The Official said that sometimes all it takes is a little push to kick-start an idea that later becomes an unstoppable venture capable of innovating and paving the way for more people to succeed.

“Our strategy is mass training, because what we’re looking for is to reach more people. We’ve already covered a good number of municipalities, and we’ll continue to do so in all those where it’s needed. No matter the day, we provide the training. The reality is that every time we give a talk the following week, applications are already received and the files are already submitted,” said Griselda Velazquez, Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs at the Secretary of Economy.
For merchants and street vendors in municipalities such as Irapuato, Silao, Leon, and Acambaro, having an affordable credit option that recognizes them as a productive sector hasn’t been the case for years.

“Today we’re telling our merchants and all businesses throughout Leon, come to the Financial Institution. The interest rates are very low, and there’s a lot of potential for growth or even gradual growth. We hope our merchants come and benefit,” said Juan Jose Mares Carpio, leader of Tianguis la Pulga 1 in Leon.

“For me, this support and these opportunities are important for all merchants to continue growing, and for others, it’s important to see this as a way to start their business. So, this motivates them not to give up, and it will help overcome the times when we have low sales and be able to inject capital into the business so it can grow,” said Jose Manuel Corona Luna, President of the Union of Tianguistas of Irapuato A.C.
“We hope everyone takes advantage of it, because the busy season is coming and we’re going to get ahead. This public policy makes us feel important, because this is one of the hardest hit industries economically, and we’ve never been so highly regarded here in Acambaro, and today we’re embarking on that journey,” said Arturo Medina Carrillo, President of the Association of Producers and Merchants “El Porvenir AC.”

State authorities and business leaders said that they will work to ensure that more Guanajuatenses can grow with confidence, autonomy, a vision for the future, and the support of Tu Puedes Guanajuato.
