The team of six collaborators from the State DIF System will travel to Italy to train in the Joy of Moving methodology, as part of the alliance with Ferrero Mexico to strengthen programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of girls and boys in Guanajuato.

As a follow-up to this program, this international training will allow the Joy of Moving methodology to be implemented more deeply in the Mobile Network’s development groups: community health and well-being, and in the Social Assistance Centers (CAS), benefiting hundreds of girls and boys with recreational, educational, and physical activity activities that promote learning through activation by playing.
The President of the Advisory Council of the State DIF System, Juan Carlos Montesinos Carranza, reported that the team of collaborators selected to participate in the specialized training will be trained as supertrainers , which is an advanced level within the program that will allow them to become multipliers of knowledge in their communities.

“These six collaborators will return with the commitment to share what they’ve learned, train other facilitators, and ensure that the Joy of Moving approach reaches every child we serve with quality. The knowledge they will bring from Italy will be key to transforming environments through play,” said José Alfonso Borja Pimentel , General Director of the State DIF System
The methodology will be applied at CAS
The Coordinator of the Comprehensive Care Center for Girls, Boys and Adolescents (CIANNA), Alejandro Gasca Sánchez, will travel to Italy for the second time to train with Grupo Ferrero and become certified in the methodology through its four pillars: “At that time, I was working as director of CIANNA, where we provide residential shelter and care to girls, boys and adolescents who for some reason have had to be separated from their family nucleus. Therefore, this methodology contributes perfectly to their comprehensive development, because it helps their physical, motor, cognitive development and life skills.”

“We had the opportunity to train the staff working at the center and replicate the methodology with the children who arrive,” said Gasca Sanchez.
Gasca explained that the new knowledge they gain from the training will be focused on the programs implemented at CIANNA, such as Foster Care and Independent Living. Additionally, they will also begin training those in charge of the Social Assistance Centers (CAS) to provide tools for children and adolescents. “Joy of Moving has contributed greatly and allowed adolescents to develop many skills. Today, we can impact the various social assistance centers in the state that also house children and adolescents, bringing them to the CAS and replicating them,” said Gasca Sanchez.

Joy of Moving arrives on Red Movil
Another of the collaborators traveling to consolidate her training is supervisor Martha Patricia Ramirez Cuevas, who was selected to implement her knowledge within Red Movil’s development groups to benefit the mothers who participate in the program.
“I feel incredibly excited, happy, and glad with Red Movil, to be able to expand my knowledge of Joy of Moving, which has provided us with great experiences in the communities and schools where we have worked with it,” said Martha.
