“Transforming lives is what we try to do and we are proud to be able to develop skills and new knowledge in people so that they are more competitive”, said Juan Carlos Lopez Rodriguez, General Director of IECA, as he handed 58 certificates to designers, and seamstresses who participated in the MODAINGTO project.
MODAINGTO is a project that began in February of this year, to promote the fashion industry in Guanajuato, through training and for which a call was opened on the IECA social networks to invite the population to participate.
Lopez Rodriguez recognized the effort of the participants, who had to go through several stages to go to the end, after going through the call and a casting that brought together prominent fashion representatives such as Anna Fusoni, Gustavo Prado and Jacob Pulido, among others, who were the mentors of the participants and in coordination with BJX Moda.
The 50 seamstresses and the ten designers who participated in this process from the beginning received training in brand development, trends and inspiration, illustration and sketching; pattern making, collection production, production costs, branding and knowledge in e-commerce.
Also supporting the event were the IECA campuses of:
- Acambaro, Moroleon, Coroneo, Irapuato, Leon, Moroleon, Purisima del Rincon, San Francisco del Rincon, San Jose Iturbide and Yuriria
