The 2nd edition of the Son and Agave Festival in Guanajuato Bicentennial Park -PGB- will will be held on September 17 and 18.
On the National Independence Holidays, visitors will enjoy new activities such as the dancing horse show and the high school, equestrian show, jaripeo, rope skills on foot and on horseback; as well as well-known activities such as:
- Tastings, artistic presentations and contests of the king and queen, tap dancing and singing.
There is a presentation of the folkloric ballet of Michoacan and a gastronomic area with a variety of foods for all tastes.
The Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato and PGB reactivate the economy of the producers and the municipality of Silao through these events that promote the culture, distillates and gastronomy of Guanajuato, three important segments that are promoted in the SECTUR Tourism Promotion Strategy.
This time the distillate producing brands present are:
- Vergel de la Sierra, Agua Dulce, Corralejo, Campotoro, Maria de la Paz, Huani, Durko 13 Cielos, TM, Vete al Quiote, Tallacua, Milagros, Penjamo, Remedios de Juan, Dorado del Bajio Zemcal, Maria Juanita, Murzol, Salvaje and Sangre de Cristo
There is also an exhibit of the work of Guanajuato artisans with brands such as:
- Sangre de Cristo, Suspiro Jalpense, Luis Aldana Bracelets, Quesos la Marieta, Hecho con amor, Tika Sauces, Campirinas, ice cream, typical toys and handmade blankets.
This year, Guanajuato will have the presence of Michoacan, as a special guest, presenting its products of origin, mezcal and tequila.

- Completely family-oriented
- Saturday and Sunday
- From 11 am to 7pm
- Access cost of 60 pesos for adults
- 15 pesos for children under 1.20 m
- And older adults with an INAPAM credential
