The Bicentennial Polytechnic University signed a collaboration agreement with Guanajuato Puerto Interior, with the Guanajuato Secretary of Education as a participant and liaison between the two instances, to strengthen the business environment for the benefit of students and communities. aspects that contribute to its formation.
The event was held as part of the meeting of UPB graduates “Always with you”, at the University premises.
The ceremony was led by Karla Sofia Padilla Ledesma, Undersecretary of Administration and Finance of the SEG, with the representation of Jorge Enrique Hernandez Meza, Secretary of Education of Guanajuato, as well as Isabel Tinoco Torres, Rector of the Polytechnic University of the Bicentennial; Hector Lopez Santillana, General Director of Guanajuato Interior Port and Aldelmo Reyes Pablo, Undersecretary of Mid-Superior and Superior Education of SEG.
Karla Sofia Padilla Ledesma highlighted the fruitful collaboration and the promotion of activities for the university and assured that in the SEG it is important to have interaction with other institutions and companies to develop dual training that contributes to the training of students.
Padilla explained that the careers and programs of the University have a vision for the future because “Guanajuato is a State with planning” for its inhabitants in search of a better labor market and the Bicentennial Polytechnic University seeks to insert students in robotics, logistics, industrial finance, biomedical and industrial design that are some of the business activities at Puerto Interior.
Héctor López Santillana, general director of Guanajuato Puerto Interior, presented the conference “The new skills in industry 4.0”.
Also, work tables were held for the exchange of experiences and ideas of the graduates of the University.
