Suppliers came in great numbers to the ANPIC fair, but buyers were also eager to come and do business
The suppliers fair returned to its in person version of exhibition of supplies

During its three days of exhibition in the 57th edition of ANPIC in its Spring-Summer version, exhibitors reported sales for more than 96’814,000 pesos and reported that they will close sales for 236’688,000 pesos in the short and mid term as contacts made during the fair continue.
Better than expected
After one year of suspension and in its return to an in person format on May 26, 27 and 28, ANPIC had:
- 132 exhibitors
- 6,596 visitors from countries like:
- Mexico, USA, Guatemala, Peru, Colombia, El Salvador, Italia, Argentina, Ecuador and Japan
Of the total of visitors 2% were from abroad, the rest were from Mexico from States like:
- Guanajuato, Jalisco, Puebla, Queretaro and Michoacan.
Buyers are satisfied
According to polls made among buyers, 78.4% considered that they were able to contact and capitalize with new suppliers for their business, of this percentage, 8 out of every 10 ranked suppliers with great possibilities to do business.
Among the main advantages visitors reported as they came to the fair were:
- Contact new suppliers
- Create new business opportunities
- Contact their actual suppliers and do purchases now and agree on purchases in the future
From the buyers polled, 94.4% said they plan to come back to ANPIC in its Fall-Winter edition next October.
Some of the most purchased products were:
- Lasts, heels, soles, sinthetic textiles, skins and leather, machinery and equipment, other accesories.
Participants invited
As part of the international program of buyers with COFOCE, 10 companies were invited to ANPIC from Guatemala, El Salvador and USA, which are looking for Mexican supplies. Also, a business center was set up, it was a space of attention for international buyers to have appointments and have personalized attention.
Experts were present
As part of its cycle of conferences. ANPIC had talks by international business experts, marketplaces, fashions trends and productive sectors, with great results.
In the conferences cycle the speaker Edgar Guzman Moreno, an expert in international business, profesor and consultant offered the conference “Todays Scenery of Mexico and Guanajuato in international trade and foreign direct investment”.
The next in October
The next Fall-Winter ANPIC edition, will be held in next October 20-22, if health conditions permit it.
