The Secretary of Infrastructure, Connectivity and Mobility reported that the construction of the campus of the National School of Higher Studies –ENES- of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM ) in San Miguel de Allende, presents to date an advance of 85 percent.
The done at the moment represent a greater advance than that scheduled in the contract, which is 58 percent.
An investment of 36 million 033 thousand 626 pesos was allocated for its construction and it is estimated that it will be completed by the end of October of this year.
The works include the construction of a two-story building, with a ground floor with 4 classrooms, a polyclinic, a women’s toilet module and an isolated, restricted, monitored facility with controlled temperature and humidity to prevent equipment overheating; designed especially to concentrate computer and telecommunications devices and central corridor.
The upper floor will have 9 classrooms, an ambulatory, a sanitary module for men and service stairs.
For the proper functioning of this building, a cistern is also built, along with a machine room, as well as an electrical room.
Prior to the works that are now being done, complementary actions were made that are already finished, such as an administrative building and the main access portico, the latter consisting of two guard booths and pedestrian and vehicular access control; it also includes exterior work such as sidewalks, curbs and retaining walls.
For the complementary works, an investment of 6 million 997 thousand 135 pesos was made, which, added to the 36 million 033 thousand 626 pesos, result in a total amount spent in this first stage of the UNAM in San Miguel de Allende, of 43 million 030 thousand 761 pesos.
