Specialist in the transformation of raw materials such as steel and aluminum into service structures for the automotive sector, the company “Falcon Sheet Metal Industries” chose Guanajuato to build its new plant.
With an investment of 10 million dollars and the generation of 200 direct and 500 indirect jobs, the 100 percent Mexican company is located in the Amexhe Industrial Park in Apaseo el Grande.
Ramon Alfaro Gomez, Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development –SDES- highlighted the synergy between the private initiative, society and government for the consolidation of high added value projects that provide new job opportunities for Guanajuatenses.
“In Guanajuato we have a very clear course, to have better conditions, better opportunities, a variety of jobs, educational development oriented to the needs of the industry with a labor peace, with industrial infrastructure so that entrepreneurs can fulfill their dreams “, said Alfaro Gomez.
The head of SDES mentioned that in the current administration led by Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo they have completed:
- More than 110 investment projects
- Investment of more than 4,928 million dollars
- Creation of more than 42,000 committed jobs
These investments have strengthened the productive ecosystem of Guanajuato, as a result of the stability, continuity and dynamism with which the Government of Guanajuato and the different productive and social sectors have worked.
Falcon Sheet Metal Industries is a 100% Mexican company installed on a land of more than 12,000 square meters and which positions Guanajuato as a benchmark in the manufacture of heavy and semi-heavy automotive accessories, such as:
- Service bodies (shipping)
- Flat beds, for vans and heavy trucks.
Its new facilities are intended for the manufacturing area, warehouses, maneuvering yards, administrative and operational offices, and a dining room.
Ramon Alfaro Gomez reiterated that Guanajuato maintains a solid economic policy that the State Government has supported in attracting investment, and thanked Grupo Falcon for its contribution to the State.
