A magical day, full of joy and many surprises, was experienced by the 24 young girls who are in various Social Assistance Centers (CAS), and who made what for them was a dream come true, by celebrating in full their XV years; which were organized by the members of the GTO Volunteer Network.
The young girls were accompanied by their godmothers and godfathers, the Governor of the State, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo and Adriana Ramirez Lozano, President of the Consultative Council of the Guanajuato State DIF System and Member of the GTO Volunteer Network, who was one of the driving forces to carry out this great event.
From the first rays of the sun until nightfall, the 24 fifteen-year-olds lived a day full of surprises and emotions in the gardens of the former Hacienda San Gabriel de Barrera, where the guests, godparents and relatives of the teenagers gathered for the celebration.
For this event, the collaboration of private and public institutions was required, thanks to the sponsors these quinceaneras were able to celebrate this special date.
The Eucharistic celebration was led by priest: Miguel Ramíirez Alvarez, who blessed the quinceaneras,in an event where they were accompanied at all times by their godmothers and godfathers who are members of the GTO Volunteer Network and where a message of hope, reconciliation and love for young women was given.
After the mass, the quinceaneras, the godmothers and godfathers went to the Rose Garden for the official reception of the event, in which a banquet was offered that they tasted with the guests.
As is already a tradition, the quinceaneras danced to the rhythm of the traditional waltz and in the presentation of their surprise dance choreography, which was coordinated by choreographer Richie de la Torre.
Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo said that his government is characterized by being humanist, since the guiding axis is the human being, especially when implementing public policies in each of the programs.
In his message, he invited the municipal governments to continue supporting children and adolescents to consider them in each of the government plans; “They are an important part of our society and we have to continue working to give them a better future”.
He endorsed his commitment to continue supporting adolescents, and the necessary conditions are being created so that they lead a full life, be happy and have the courage to fulfill any dream they set out to do.
Also, he congratulated the adolescents and highlighted the efforts of each of those who make up the GTO Volunteer Network and, above all, the goodwill of the businessmen who made the event possible for the adolescents.
“They are reaching a very important age in their lives, because they are beginning to make decisions; therefore, the most important decision is to study, please do not stop preparing and following your dreams, those decisions that you make in the coming years are decisions that will define the course of your life”, said the Governor.
The President of the Consultative Council of the Guanajuato State DIF System, Adriana Ramirez Lozano , thanked those who make up the GTO Volunteer Network and the sponsors for generating a lot of joy for the quinceaneras,and insisted that Guanajuato is a State where work is done to guarantee the right of children and adolescents to live with a family.
“I want to thank each and every one of you for making this dream a reality. Thank you for making each of these young girls happy and that will be in their memory for a lifetime”, said Ramirez Lozano.
The quinceaneras enjoyed the music to the fullest and they danced and cut their cake and enjoyed this special day, which, no doubt, will remain forever in their memory.
