Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, led the session for the installation of the Multidisciplinary Working Group, which will be in charge of the Strategic Actions Program to address the Gender Violence Alert against Women.
This is a matter of great responsibility and relevance, in which we will address all the recommendations we have received from CONAVIM, said the Governor.
“This alert represents a great opportunity for us to align all institutional efforts to eradicate violence against women”, said Libia.
“Today, that is our commitment, and it is evident today with the presence of each of those who make up this Group, with that commitment to the girls, adolescents, young girls and women of Guanajuato,” said the Governor.
Libia stressed that no effort or action will be spared to protect the women of our State.

Libia Dennise Garcia said that to address this Gender Violence Alert Against Women, linked to the crimes of femicide and disappearance of women, adolescents and girls, we all have to work together:
- The 3 Powers
- The autonomous organizations
- The 17 municipalities involved
Libia explained that the actions that are being requested in the CONAVIM recommendations are:
- 11 actions in prevention measures
- 4 actions in care measures
- 1 action in security measures
- 3 actions in measures of prosecution and administration of justice
- 1 action in measures of reparation of damage
- 1 action in legislative measures
“I ask you to respond and rise to the occasion, that we provide better conditions and environments for women, adolescents and girls”, said Libia.
“May this great team mark the beginning of clear and decisive actions that provide firm and committed responses to eradicate violence against women. I am certain that at the end of this work, we will be able to leave women a State free of all violence and all disappearances”, said the Governor.
The working group is made up of representatives of:
- The Executive, Legislative and Judicial Powers
- Autonomous bodies such as the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Guanajuato and the Human Rights Ombudsman’s Office
- The 17 municipalities involved in the Gender Alert
