Today police officers of Guanajuato and their families can be assured that they have a State Government and a Governor who has a strong commitment to security: Sophia Huett Lopez, Executive Secretary of the State System of Public Security.
“Being a police officer is not an easy decision, neither for those who take it, nor for their families; today the Country is experiencing important challenges in terms of security, and in this task, be certain that you and your families are not alone. You have Authorities that support you and support your families, you have the support of Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, who is the most committed State leader to security and police institutions”, said Huett Lopez.
This commitment, stressed Huett, is also reflected in the budget, with the delivery of State resources for security to the municipalities through the State Fund for Municipal Strengthening, which adds up to 800 million pesos in 4 years; and the effort that is made from the City Councils and the State itself, with the increase in salaries and that today places the Municipal and State police officers of Guanajuato as the best paid in the country.
Participating in the graduation ceremony of the 50th Generation of the Leon Metropolitan Academy of Public Security, with Mayor Alejandra Gutierrez Campos, the Executive Secretary of the State Security System also said that based on the results of the first Survey of Municipal Police Self-perception, 80% of the police officers, assure that they go into the Corporation by vocation and hardly contemplate resigning; and 62 percent ask for something that is outside the public resource: respect and trust of citizens.
