45 SME entrepreneurs complete the comprehensive export course, strengthening their skills to expand their businesses to the global market
The Guanajuato Suma public policy, and COFOCE, promote regional economic development by training small businesses in international trade

To promote the growth and international expansion of companies, the course “Learn to Export” concluded, in which 45 entrepreneurs participated.
This program aims to train entrepreneurs who want to begin their export journey, providing them with essential tools and knowledge, as well as support by COFOCE throughout the process; under the guidance of the Guanajuato Suma public policy, COFOCE prepares companies to compete in the global market.
With the vision and support of the Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Denisse Garcia Munoz Ledo, this course offered participants seven specialized modules covering everything from:
- Basic export concepts
- Customs procedures, logistics, international marketing, and branding
Beyond theoretical learning, the program aimed to furnish attendees with practical skills to identify international opportunities, prepare their products, and optimize their export operations.
“It is very important that the Government provides us with tools to open ourselves to international trade, to feel supported, trying to break down that barrier, of fear, more than anything else, when opening up to competition,” said businessman Jose Mauricio Reynoso.
This closing of a stage represents not only the culmination of a training process, but also the beginning of new challenges and opportunities for these SMEs to transcend borders and consolidate their presence in global markets.
These actions exemplify how local public policy and institutional effort can boost economic development, directly benefiting the business community and strengthening Guanajuato’s export landscape.
