Alternatives of jobs, training and entrepreneurship are strengthened

The Secretary of Economy and the Secretary of the New Beginning signed a Framework Agreement for Collaboration and Institutional Coordination to bring employability, training, certification and entrepreneurship tools to beneficiaries

In order to connect social programs with new alternatives for employment, training, skills certification and entrepreneurship, the Secretary of Economy and the Secretary of the New Beginning signed the Framework Agreement for Collaboration and Institutional Coordination.

The agreement establishes the basis for both agencies to combine capabilities and coordinate programs, actions and services that contribute to the economic, human and social development of people, particularly those in vulnerable situations.

The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, highlighted that this collaboration responds to the vision of the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, to place people at the center of public policies and generate conditions so that families in Guanajuato can advance with greater autonomy, better incomes and new opportunities.

“In Guanajuato, we build opportunities that become tools to get ahead, generate income, and strengthen people’s autonomy,” said the Secretary of Economy.

The Secretary of the New Beginning, Rosario Corona Amador, emphasized that “this agreement reflects what it means to work in the People’s Government: joining forces to comprehensively support the families of Guanajuato. It seeks to expand the Pink Card program and provide women with new training, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities that will help improve their economic conditions and strengthen their autonomy.”

As a first result of this collaboration, both agencies are promoting the strategy “Women at the Forefront: economic and personal empowerment”, through which 100 women entrepreneurs who are beneficiaries of the Pink Card will receive specialized training in sales, digital marketing, negotiation, branding and financing.

The strategy also includes the evaluation and certification of job skills in sales and customer service profiles, as well as access to digital tools such as the CONEECTA employment platform.

The collaboration aligns with Guanajuato Suma, the State’s new economic policy, particularly with the Talent, Employability and Inclusion axis, which aims to strengthen people’s capabilities and their connection to productive activities.
