Participants in the Initial Entrepreneur Workshop, part of the “Creemos En Ti” program, decided to overcome their limitations, believe in themselves, and give it all for their ventures

In northeastern Guanajuato, entrepreneurs decided to train themselves to overcome their own limitations, develop skills, and believe in themselves to take control of their own businesses, thanks to the Initial Entrepreneur Workshop of the Financiera y Apoyos Tu Puedes Guanajuato (Financial and Support Fund You Can Guanajuato).
Ivon Padilla Hernandez, Director General of the agency, highlighted that in Guanajuato the government of the People solves problems and that is why, in Tierra Blanca, with the Initial Workshop, a space is opened for entrepreneurs where they can learn, ask questions and discover that small business they have today and use it to take the next step in their growth.
“Sometimes a person has the desire, the knowledge, and even the clients, but they need to stop for a moment to organize their idea. That is what we want to offer here in Tierra Blanca: Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo has asked us to create a space for entrepreneurs to learn, ask questions, and discover that the small business they have today can also take the next step toward growth,” said Padilla.
While leading this activity, in which 218 entrepreneurs participated, Padilla explained that the Initial Entrepreneur Workshop is part of the “We Believe in You” program and is an important requirement to be able to request the non-refundable support of 7 thousand pesos, aimed mainly at women from 18 to 59 years old and men from 18 to 30 years old who want to start a productive activity or strengthen a microbusiness.
“We don’t want anyone to think that, because their business started small, their dreams also have to be small. What matters today is taking that first step to move forward with better tools. A good decision can change the way that a person sees their business and, over time, also changes their own story,” said Ivon.
During the workshop, the participants shared experiences about some of the challenges they face daily: getting clients, separating personal expenses from business expenses, knowing their costs, managing their income, and finding new ways to offer their products or services.
