SABES stands out at INFOMATRIX

Four teams will represent Guanajuato at INFOMATRIX in Mexico and Iberoamerica

With innovative and high-level projects, students of the SABES High School stood out in the 2026 edition of INFOMATRIX Guanajuato, an international competition of student projects focused on science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship, obtaining medals and accreditations that will allow them to represent the State in the national and Ibero-American stages.

Given the quality of their presentations, four teams from SABES obtained their ticket to the next phases of the competition, organized by the Latin American Society of Science and Technology (SOLACYT).

The recognized projects are:

• “Electrovolts”, of the SABES Primaveral High School of Irapuato, with a gold medal and its pass to INFOMATRIX Iberoamerica, in the Robotics-Mechatronics category
• “La Parka y el Pelon”, of the SABES Duarte High School in Leon, won a gold medal and will compete in INFOMATRIX Iberoamerica, in the Animation category

• “Anydol, Direct to Pain”, of the SABES Cabecera Juventino Rosas High School, was recognized with a silver medal and will participate in INFOMATRIX National Mexico 2026, in the Applied Science category
• “Inclusive Neuroeducation”, of the SABES Primaveral High School of Irapuato, with a silver medal and will compete in INFOMATRIX National Mexico 2026, in the Scientific Dissemination category

In addition, two bronze medals and three honorable mentions for SABES with the following projects:

• “Eco-Leaves” of SABES Santa Fe de la Purisima High School in Cortazar, won a bronze medal in the Applied Science category
• “EcoForte” of SABES La Campana High School in Salamanca, won a bronze medal in the Applied Science category

• “UID Cardiophone” of SABES Juventino Rosas High School, received an honorable mention in the Applied Science category
• “Plantial” of SABES El Huamuchil High School in Xichu, received an honorable mention in the Applied Science category

• “Mendeleev’s Legacy – The Fundamental Search” of SABES Jose Parangueo High School in Valle de Santiago, received an honorable mention in the Board Game category.

The SABES’ outstanding participation in INFOMATRIX Guanajuato 2026 reaffirms its commitment to promote young talent and foster the development of scientific, technological and innovation skills.

INFOMATRIX is a Latin American competition that promotes research, creativity and entrepreneurship among students, giving them the opportunity to project their ideas nationally and internationally.
