In order to strengthen urban infrastructure and provide better living conditions for families in the San Silvestre neighborhood, the inauguration of Calle Veinte took place in Purisima del Rincon.
With the vision of the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, that the people of Guanajuato have better opportunities and social development, the Secretary of the New Beginning, Maria del Rosario Corona Amador, said that the improvement of these streets responds to the needs of the people.
“The governor has asked us that none of us be sitting at a desk. She tells us to be out in the streets where the needs are, with the people, seeing how we can help, seeing how we can support them, because for us, social development means a new beginning for families. That’s what we call ourselves, the Secretary of the New Beginning, because wherever we do a project, it’s a new beginning. We want many new beginnings to occur in Guanajuato, with opportunities, with development, so that people feel that the Government is doing its job, that we are responding with hard work to the trust you placed in us,” the Secretary said.
The Mayor of Purisima del Rincon, Roberto Garcia Urbano, said that this project represents a significant advance for the residents of the area, as it facilitates the safe transit of pedestrians and vehicles, in addition to contribute to the orderly urban development of the municipality.
Authorities highlighted that the rehabilitation of this road not only improves connectivity , but also positively impacts the quality of life of families by offering safer, more accessible and dignified spaces.
With an investment of 2 million 454 thousand 173.9 pesos, the project included paving work, sidewalk improvements, and the upgrading of basic services. In addition, trees were donated, contributing to the creation of a greener and more pleasant environment, so that residents can soon enjoy shaded spaces, a better urban image, and greater well-being for the community.
With actions like this, the People’s Government reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting projects that respond to the needs of the citizens, fostering safer, more functional environments with better opportunities for everyone.
