We are a model in Mexico in the application of programs directed to support entrepreneurs
Leon/Gto News
In the presentation of her Second Report of her Government, Libia Dennise informed that in this People’s Government, the Tu Puedes Guanajuato Financial and Support Fund was created, an institution that believes in the value of your word and your desire to succeed. There, business owners, our rural communities, artisans, taxi drivers, and entrepreneurs will find financing for every need, said the Governor.

We opened seven regional branches in the State and also have service centers in every municipality. And it’s worth noting that 70% of the loans granted are to women, said Libia.
Libia noted that the first LGBTQ+ job placement event was held with 15 international companies, giving 724 people the opportunity to find decent jobs free from discrimination.

With “My Store at 100%,” she said, “today we are putting in your hands the necessary tools to sell much more. Because when a store opens with better tools, it is the well-being of an entire family that is strengthened.”
“And for my people in the markets, we are supporting them with the Mi Plaza program, to modernize their facilities and improve each stall so that they are safe spaces that also help them sell more. That is why we completed the Plaza del Carmen market in Purisima del Rincon and rehabilitated supply centers in Celaya, Irapuato, Salamanca, and San Luis de la Paz, among other municipalities, which now look much nicer for our people,” she said.

Suport to farmers
Libia said that rural roads and harvest transport routes have been rehabilitated, and irrigation systems have been modernized to conserve every drop of water, because the prosperity of our land is the future of all.
The Governor announced the new Bajio Grain strategy, a collaborative effort between government, industry, and producers to protect tortilla prices and ensure their availability, thereby safeguarding household income. We will prioritize the distribution of corn produced in Guanajuato and strategic collection centers, strengthening regional logistics.

She emphasized that Marca Guanajuato is celebrating its tenth anniversary as a reflection of our State’s pride. This year, 605 new success stories joined the Marca Guanajuato program, and today, with 8,500 businesses emblem holders, they are putting our State’s name on the map.
“We want our entrepreneurs not only to stay afloat, but to take the leap forward. With the Mi Negocio Pa’delante program, we are supporting those who have already made progress so their businesses can continue to grow. And for those who are ready to export, through COFOCE, this year we enabled new Guanajuato companies to begin exporting their products,” she said.
Libia emphasized that so far in our administration, in these 17 months, more than 3.705 billion dollars have been attracted through 48 investment projects, 48% of the six-year goal; these investments represent more than 11,000 jobs for Guanajuatense families.

“Guanajuato is about trust, and trust is the greatest currency for investors. Here, the investment that comes, stays, grows, and benefits our people,” said the Governor.
A Government that is an ally of women
For the People’s Government, women are the face of this new beginning in Guanajuato. That is why this is and will continue to be a Government Allied to Women.

“I want you to feel it in your heart: you have and will always have your Governor,” said Libia Dennise.
“We said we would strengthen the ALIADAS strategy to support you at every stage of your lives, and today we have gone from 20 to 27 programs with real benefits. With ALIADAS, no woman in our State is ever alone again; today you are supported by a government that sees and listens to you. To date, more than 260,000 women have benefited from ALIADAS, and we are aiming for even more,” Libia added.

The Governor commented that an essential component of the ALIADAS strategy is the Pink Card, which for this administration is, above all, an act of social justice.
Zero Tolerance for Harassment
“As the first government led by a woman, with a gender-balanced cabinet, we could not allow harassment to be normalized, and we defined a Zero Tolerance policy. That is why I presented a bill to Congress to amend the law so that harassment committed by public servants is considered a serious administrative offense, because, however difficult it may seem, it was not considered as such under the law,” the Governor emphasized.

“The message is clear: anyone who assaults a woman will be punished to the fullest extent of the law,” the Governor stated.
Best roads in Guanajuato
Libia said that in terms of infrastructure, the highways in our State are the best in the country, and we continue to invest in the maintenance of the 2,640 kilometers of highways that cross Guanajuato.
Furthermore, she said, we carried out the modernization of the San Miguel de Allende–Dolores Hidalgo section, a project that boosts tourism in our region. We also built bridges, roads, streets, and social infrastructure, she said.
Libia Dennise said she has built and joined forces with the Federal Government. “Our people deserve vision and a governor who knows how to manage and deliver results. Especially in priority projects for Guanajuato, such as the Passenger Train, Irrigation Modernization, the Solis Aqueduct, and the Bajio Logistics Gateway.”

Libia Dennise said that “the people of Guanajuato are not defined by the storm. They are defined by how we face it. Because behind every work, every project, every advance there are years of discipline, effort and strategic vision.”
The Governor called on Guanajuatenses to continue working together. “Here is a Governor who will continue to give all of her for her people. Here is a government that will not abandon you. Let’s continue building this new beginning! The best is yet to come: SAID AND DONE!” the Governor said.
