Job placement programs have facilitated employment integration

Through the linkage programs of the Secretary of Economy, more than 48,000 people have been placed in jobs during the progress of the current State administration.
Guanajuato’s economic policy, led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, strengthens the labor market through a strategic implementation of job placement services.
The head of the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, explained that this comprehensive model improves employability and opens real opportunities of prosperity for the people of Guanajuato.
Through regional offices and liaison services, job seekers are connected with available vacancies in companies already established or about to be established in Guanajuato.
This process ensures efficient integration through recruitment, selection, and follow-up stages, to facilitate that people find opportunities that match their profiles.
Furthermore, Job Links streamline the hiring process by bringing together companies and job seekers in one place, fostering direct interaction.
In the area of training, the Job Training Scholarships (BecaT) have benefited 6,721 people, boosting their professional development and job creation. Additionally, more than 8,200 citizens have obtained job skills certifications to enhance their competitiveness in the job market.
Regarding the promotion of self-employment, the “Mi Negocio Pa’ Delante” program has benefited 1,144 entrepreneurs, of which 77% are women.
To further strengthen access to the labor market, the People’s Government has the platform https://coneecta.guanajuato.gob.mx/, a digital tool for companies and job seekers where more than 2,100 companies offer more than 28,200 positions throughout the State.

Finally, the investment attraction policy has resulted in 45 projects in Guanajuato, with a commitment to generate more than 11,000 new jobs.

- According to figures from the National Survey of Occupation and Employment (ENOE) of INEGI, Guanajuato registered an advance in job creation in the last year.
Comparing the third quarter of 2024 with the same period in 2025, the number of employed people rose from 2 million 810 thousand to more than 2 million 889 thousand, representing the incorporation of 78 thousand Guanajuatenses into the productive force of Guanajuato.
These indicators confirm the dynamism of Guanajuato’s economy and the competitiveness of the labor market, consolidating the State as a benchmark for economic development and prosperity.
With these actions, the People’s Government, through the Secretary of Economy, reaffirms its commitment to the families of Guanajuato to promote sustained economic and social growth.
