UVEG and the University of Guanajuato strengthen their strategic alliance with the signing of a collaboration agreement on micro-credentials and research

The Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato (UVEG) and the University of Guanajuato (UG) formalized an important collaboration agreement this Wednesday that will make it possible to promote academic, research, micro-credential projects and joint actions with State and National impact.
The event brought together authorities from both institutions and academic and administrative representatives.
“The most valuable aspect of this partnership is that it directly benefits our students and demonstrates that we can build high-quality projects with national and international scope. We have collaborated on major projects, and that is what motivates us most: to grow together and bring opportunities to more people,” said the Rector of UVEG as he expressed his appreciation to the University of Guanajuato for its tradition, academic leadership, and openness to collaborative work.
“The University of Guanajuato (UG) is one of the country’s most emblematic universities. We, through our online programs, are also national leaders. This collaboration on micro-credentials and research will allow both institutions to grow and reach further,” said the Rector as he noted the importance of combining the experience of the UG and the strength of UVEG in virtual education.
“This agreement is one for which I am most happy to sign because of its great potential. Today we close the year with an alliance that will strengthen fundamental areas such as micro-credentials and research,” said the Rector General of the University of Guanajuato as she noted the significance of this agreement.
“When we sign an agreement, it’s to get the best from both parties. The key word here is complementarity: each institution contributes its strengths to build projects that truly transform,” said the Rector as she emphasized that both institutions complement each other strategically.
The alliance between UVEG and the University of Guanajuato reaffirms both institutions’ commitment to advance to a more accessible, innovative, and globally-minded education. This collaboration opens new avenues for students, faculty, and researchers and promotes initiatives that contribute to improve the quality of life of Guanajuatenses.
