Guanajuato is at the forefront with an innovative and unprecedented event in Mexico: “Talent is Discovered in Motion”, the first event that combines recreational and sporting activities with recruitment to offer new job opportunities.
This initiative, inspired by the French model ‘Développement du Sport de Haut Niveau’, developed in collaboration with France Travail and Expertise France, seeks to revolutionize the way young people and recruiters connect through dynamic activities that highlight key soft skills such as teamwork, communication, leadership, among other.
The administration led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo reaffirms the commitment of Guanajuato with the young and sports as tools to boost employability and economic development.
The head of the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, said that Guanajuato stands out as a proactive and distinctive State in its recruitment processes, setting the standard with an international cooperation approach by adopting this innovative model.
“Guanajuato is proud to have been a pioneer in this type of event, where recruiters and young people interacted dynamically and personally through sporting activities. Guanajuato is disruptive, and that is why we have adopted this model’s methodology to promote innovative events with a focus on employability,” said Villasenor.
For the first time in Guanajuato, 10 leading companies of the industrial corridor actively participated, offering more than 80 posts covering areas from engineering such as biotechnology, aeronautics and pharmaceuticals to technical and operational positions.
The event was attended by more than 100 students from the Interdisciplinary Professional Unit of Engineering Campus Guanajuato of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) and the general public.
The event “Talent is Discovered in Motion” represents a transformation towards a more humane and effective model of labor linkage, fulfilling the promise of offering opportunities for all levels and industrial sectors.
With this initiative, the People’s Government, through the Secretary of Economy, consolidates its place as a national benchmark in innovation and economic development, inviting young people to continue participating in these events.
