Strategic programs are presented in Apaseo el Grande to strengthen labor and business ties in the Laja-Bajio region
More than 26,000 job offers and 270 million in generated business support the strategies

In coordination with Apaseo el Grande, training was carried out to present two key initiatives for Guanajuato and the Laja-Bajio region: the business meetings “Industrial Connection” and the employment platform “Coneecta”.

The state administration of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo is committed to bring economic programs and strategies closer to prosperity and the generation and preservation of jobs.

The head of the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, highlighted that, with these tools, the Laja-Bajio region is moving towards greater economic integration, offering better opportunities for growth and employment.
The training was attended by representatives of the municipalities of:
- Salvatierra, Apaseo el Grande, Tarimoro, Cortazar and Apaseo el Alto, as well as 22 companies, 2 institutions and 29 students from the Advanced System of High School and Higher Education (SABES) and the Technological Institute of Roque

The digital platform ‘Coneecta’ offers more than 26,000 job opportunities from over 2,000 companies in Guanajuato.
Available at https://coneecta.guanajuato.gob.mx/, it allows job seekers to create a profile and apply for positions from mobile devices or computers.
Thanks to the geolocation technology, users can access nearby offers, optimizing time and efficiency.

In addition, it monitors the regional education offer to promote training aligned with market demand and send personalized alerts about vacancies compatible with each user’s skills and experience.
While, the “Industrial Connection” program, through the “Supplier Day” event, has generated business opportunities worth more than 270 million pesos in seven editions.

The program has integrated 460 Guanajuatense Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with national and international corporations such as Top Sun, Pasubio, Mazda, Siemens Energy, Aztema, NKPM and a company in the food sector.
This program aims to transform investments into engines of growth, generating quality jobs, diversifying sectors, and consolidating technological innovation in the region.
“Industrial Connection” promotes a collaborative model between government and private sector to strengthen the competitiveness of Guanajuato as an industrial hub and a center of prosperous development.
