Drinking water works are being built in different communities in Romita and other municipalities

The Secretary of Water and Environment (SAMA) continues to advance the construction of more hydraulic works for the municipalities of the State of Guanajuato.
An example of this coordinated work by SAMA is the equipment for a drinking water well that will benefit the communities of Pedregal de Barroso, Pedregal de Rangel, Pedregal de Martinez, and Los Angeles in the municipality of Romita.
The well, which will benefit 938 residents of the communities with an investment of 2.3 million pesos, will help ensure that families living in this area of the municipality have access to water in sufficient quantity, quality, and the chance to do their daily activities.
Additionally, besides contributing to the continuous improvement and expansion of the region’s water infrastructure, more people can access this vital liquid in their homes.
In 2024 a well was drilled, in which the Secretary of Water and Environment invested 7 million pesos for the comprehensive development of this important water project for the people of Romita.
As a result of strategies to consolidate more hydraulic actions, construction of the third stage of the south-east sanitary drainage collector of the municipal seat was carried out in 2024.
With these projects, which will benefit more people in Romita, the Secretary continues to develop water projects with the utmost efficiency to improve the quality of life for the inhabitants of this municipality.
