Trust and certainty are the hallmarks of the People’s Government. NHK Spring will invest $55 million in the construction of a new plant in Irapuato, creating 233 new jobs

Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo continues her intensive promotional tour of Japan and announced a $55 million investment for the construction of a new NHK Spring plant in Irapuato.
“We are on the same team to continue working together. We know that generating growth in investments in Guanajuato requires two very important components: trust and certainty. We appreciate the confidence you have in Guanajuato, which strengthens our business alliance,” the Governor told NHK Spring’s top executives.
With the $55 million investment, the company pledged to create 233 new jobs.
NHK Spring manufactures springs for automotive suspensions and electric motor cores. The company already has a plant in Irapuato, which they opened in 2014 and expanded in 2017.
“We were delighted to welcome the Governor and present our project to her. We continue to invest because we believe in the state, and they offer us the certainty and confidence we value so much. NHK will continue to strengthen its presence in Guanajuato,” said Noritoshi Takamura, Executive Vice President and Chief Quality Officer and Chief Technology Officer.
This is excellent news for Guanajuato families because it represents more quality jobs and more opportunities, the Governor said.
