During the Easter and Passover 2025 holidays, Guanajuato will receive an increasing tourist flow compared to the 2024 period.

According to indicators from the General Direction of Tourism Intelligence, Information, and Analysis of SECTURI, a 2 percent increase in tourist arrivals is forecast, along with a 5 percent increase in occupied rooms and an average hotel occupancy rate of 36 percent, compared to 35 percent recorded the previous year.

Among the main destinations are:
- Guanajuato City, which will have a 39 percent occupancy rate and welcome more than 42,000 tourists in hotel
- The city of Leon, with a 36 percent occupancy rate and the arrival of more than 49,000 tourists
- San Miguel de Allende, which projects the arrival of 43,000 visitors with a 49 percent occupancy rate, consolidating its position as one of the most attractive destinations

These results reflect the positive impact of promotional strategies and the growing interest in Guanajuato as a world-class tourist destination.

The consolidation of these indicators not only means an increased number of visitors but also a significant boost to the economy of Guanajuato, thanks to an estimated economic impact of 2.703 billion pesos for this period.
