More than 40 companies offered 500 vacancies at the Women’s Employment Network in Silao, promoting job placement with local talent

A delegation from the European Union, part of the EU4decentwork initiative, visited the first Labor Liaison for Women in Silao to analyze the implementation of the National Employment Service (SNE) programs in Guanajuato.
The European Commission examined the Guanajuato government’s strategies to promote decent employment, with particular attention to job placement mechanisms and the opportunities created for local talent.
During the event, which was attended by more than 40 companies with over 500 vacancies, the goal of connecting people with job opportunities that allow them to access employment and improve their quality of life was highlighted.
The EU4decentwork initiative, which promotes fair working conditions and professional development globally, recognized Guanajuato’s progress in inclusive employment policies, particularly in reducing gender gaps and promoting labor formalization.
The People’s Government, led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, has optimized the job search experience and facilitated the recruitment process for companies. By bringing Guanajuato’s talent closer to new opportunities, a more prosperous future is being fostered.
Representing the Ministry of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, and the Undersecretary of Employment and Job Training, Luis Andres Alvarez Aranda, emphasized that the Job Links function as an effective bridge between companies and candidates.
This year’s event featured companies from sectors such as:
- Manufacturing, automotive parts, services, consulting, and logistics

- Ashimori, Nestle-Purina, Pirelli, Denso, Transportes Aldo, Lyrba, and Nishikawa, among other
