Guanajuato to host the Forever Wedding Summit 2026

SECTURI has secured the right to host the most important wedding event in Latin America in San Miguel de Allende next year

The Secretary of Tourism and Identity (SECTURI) has secured Guanajuato’s appointment as the host of the Forever Wedding Summit 2026, the most important international gathering of the wedding industry in Mexico and Latin America. The announcement was made during the event held this year in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.

This event is attended by promoters of this tourism segment from Mexico and Latin America, including leaders, wedding planners, travel agents, and representatives of associations specializing in romance tourism.

San Miguel de Allende will host the Forever Wedding Summit, although for the event the State’s extensive tourism offerings, services, and venues will be promoted in places such as Guanajuato City, Leon, Dolores Hidalgo, CIN, and other.

It is SECTURI’s commitment, together with the Association of Weddings, Events and Venues (ABER), to highlight this heritage on the most anticipated day for couples: their wedding day.

Forever Wedding Summit is an immersive experience that brings together leaders and visionaries from the wedding and events industry, offering a networking environment and business opportunities. Previous editions of the event have been held in Queretaro, Yucatan, and Michoacan, and this is the first time Guanajuato will host this event.

Participation in the Summit seeks to generate strategic alliances, professionalize attendees through an academic program, and attract new romance events that boost the local economy.

Guanajuato is positioned as a must-see wedding destination, highlighting the State’s cultural, historical, and natural treasures, and establishing itself as a benchmark in romance tourism.
