The organism reaffirms its commitment with high-level research and training to strengthen crime prevention in Guanajuato

With the aim of consolidating cooperation networks aimed at developing innovative strategies for the prevention and response to violence and crime, key elements for State security, staff from the State Public Security Training Institute (INFOSPE) participated in the XXX Ordinary Assembly of the National Council of Criminological Education Institutions (CIECRIM) and the XIII General Assembly of the Ibero-American Network of Forensic Sciences and Criminology.

The sessions of both assemblies, held in Toluca, State of Mexico, addressed the affiliation and incorporation of new members.
The meetings brought together experts, researchers, and representatives of national and international academic institutions with the aim of strengthening collaboration in the fields of criminology and forensics.

Participating in these international cooperation forums allows the Secretary of Security and Peace of Guanajuato to strengthen its capabilities in crime prevention, develop evidence-based security policies, and use advanced forensic methodologies.
With these actions Guanajuato advances| in the construction of a security system based on knowledge and academic excellence, reaffirming its leadership in the training of criminology and forensic science professionals in Latin America.
