Corporate Social Responsibility -CSR- has become an essential pillar for companies that seek to grow in Guanajuato, while supporting their community and protecting the environment.
Today 123 companies in Guanajuato have been recognized with the ESR Distinction, awarded by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy -Cemefi-, a Distinction that endorses their commitment to these responsible practices.
CSR involves a genuine commitment to economic, social and environmental expectations, always prioritizing respect for people and promoting collective well-being. Companies that adopt social responsibility criteria stand out as leaders in their respective industries.
Implementing a CSR strategy not only generates benefits for society, but also offers significant competitive advantages. Companies that foster a socially responsible environment are usually more innovative and creative in their processes and products.
A positive work environment, where ethics and sustainability are valued, not only attracts talented employees but also retains them. Responsible companies are less vulnerable to reputational crises and other operational risks.

Corporate social responsibility is a path towards sustainability that benefits everyone. The Government of Guanajuato, as an Entity Promoting CSR, invites all large companies in Guanajuato to participate in the call to obtain the CSR Distinction, which closes on November 15.
