Guanajuato once again becomes the epicenter of Industry 4.0: Governor

During the inauguration of the Industrial Transformation Mexico -ITM- 2024 of the Hannover Messe, Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, said that Guanajuato has once again become the epicenter of Industry 4.0, and a powerful means of disseminating knowledge for entrepreneurs, creators and innovators.
“We are proud to inaugurate the most important technological fair of Industry 4.0 in Mexico and Latin America. It is the business, industrial, scientific and technological event of the year,” said the State Governor.
It is a fair that is the vertex of the triple helix that moves Mexico and the world:
- Companies, academia and government
And it moves the Country in a synergy that allows us to continue moving forward. A unique opportunity to explore the most relevant trends in innovation, digitalization and industrial automation, noted the Governor.
For Guanajuato it is a privilege to have this window to the future where 275 leading companies from more than 30 countries will participate, noted the Governor, we expect more than 20,000 professional visitors from around the world, including industry experts, decision makers, businessmen and women, as well as young people who come to see the best of this industry, said Libia.
We are proud and excited that the special guests of this great event are women and more than 5,000 young students in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, said Libia Dennise.
“For this reason, we celebrate the creation of ITMujeres, a space to promote and empower the professional development of women in Industry 4.0 and thus build an inclusive and diverse sector”, said Garcia Munoz Ledo.
In this new State Administration, we have a firm commitment with inclusion, and we believe in an inclusive economy that brings progress to Guanajuatense families, said the Governor.
“We thank our friends and allies at Hannover Messe for their trust in Guanajuato and the vision of the future that we share for our State”, said Libia.
“Everyone is welcome. From the State Government, we will continue to ignite the engines of education, innovation, equality, and fairness, to conquer the future. In this new beginning, in the Government of the People, we are ready to write new success stories”, said the Governor.
ITM is the most important Industry 4.0 event in Mexico and Latin America. Since its first edition in 2019, it has been the main meeting point for industrial leaders, technology companies, academics and governments seeking to promote digital transformation, automation and modernization of production processes.
ITM is organized by the Italian German Exhibition Company Mexico in collaboration with the Government of the State of Guanajuato.
Some of the activities that will take place are:
- Conferences and panels with more than 50 presentations on technology, digitalization, artificial intelligence, robotics, and sustainability
- Exhibition of products and services focused on automation, artificial intelligence and robotics
- As well as “FIRST Global Summit Mexico”, an event that promotes inclusive technology in collaboration with the Business Coordinating Council and Concamin
