The Guanajuato Health Secretary closed the workshop “Nursing Research: The key to knowledge for the improvement of health research”.

Ligia Arce Padilla, Secretary of Health, reported that the purpose of this training held at the General Hospital of Leon is to highlight nursing research as a means to improve health care.

The nursing interns presented the research projects developed in the course-workshop as part of their professional training.

This event sought to promote research among interns, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and strengthen health care through scientific evidence.

Arce Padilla pointed out that nursing research is essential to improve the quality of medical care, develop new evidence-based practices and advance in the field of health care.

The three best projects in oral mode were chosen and prizes were awarded to the three best projects in poster mode.

Nursing interns directly benefited from presenting their research protocols and receiving constructive feedback from experts in the field.

The Secretary of Health opens opportunities for collaboration with health and academic institutions for future research and projects related to the improvement of health care.

Arce Padilla finished saying that this training will improve health care in Guanajuato.
