Motivated by her children, Maria Luz Lule Munoz, 76, certified primary school with the Institute of Literacy and Basic Education for Adults -INAEBA-. “I have my children, they tell me: go on mom, you go wherever they invite you, thank God, I bless my children because they are very good to me”.
For Maria Luz, there are no obstacles or excuses to pursue one’s dreams. She hopes to be a source of motivation and lead more people who need to learn to read and write, complete primary and secondary school, and approach the institute’s advisors.
“Yu are all invited to resume your studies. Many people say, no because I’m tired, because I’m old, many people have that mentality that, I’m old, what for?, no, they’ve even told us, what ridiculous old ladies, but we feel, as the saying goes, the leather wrinkles, but the heart does not age, we are in the senior group, we dance, we sing, we go out”, said Luz enthusiastically.
Maria Luz recalls that in her childhood there was only one level of study, they went up to second, but now in her adult life, she took advantage of the educational services of INAEBA. She attended a study circle where she was able to acquire new knowledge to obtain her official primary school certificate.
She is grateful that all the materials and services are free: “They are given away, everything is free, and those who don’t want to study it is only because they don’t want to, it is never too late to start, one feels very happy, proud and happy”.
“I got my certificate, that’s why I tell you that it is a pride, and well, thank God and thank those who work in this, may God bless you and may we continue to move forward, while we are in this world we have to work hard”, said Maria Luz.
The INAEBA maintains permanent attention in the 46 municipalities of Guanajuato.
