Thanks to the “Labor Links” strategy that the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development -SDES- launched through the Undersecretary of Employment and Labor Training, during 2023 up to 27 labor links were organized, where more than 17 thousand vacant posts were offered.
Ramon Alfaro Gomez, head of the SDES, noted that the economic policy promoted by the current administration of Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo is focused on creating a competitive environment for the development of the local economy, through programs and actions promoted under a scheme of transversal collaboration between municipalities and private initiatives that are linked to generate more and better working and professional conditions for the benefit of Guanajuato residents.
The SDES implements various strategies focused on the economic recovery of Guanajuato, as a result of one of them, in 2023 it was possible to carry out 27 “Labor Links” in municipalities like:
Leon, Silao, Celaya, Cueramaro, Guanajuato, Irapuato, Penjamo, Purisima del Rincon, Salamanca, San Diego de la Union, San Miguel de Allende, San Jose Iturbide, Valle de Santiago, Villagran and Yuriria
In these events:
- 17,521 job posts were offered
- By 1,089 companies
- For technical, operational and administrative profiles
Some of the companies that participated in these labor links were:
- Denso, Pirelli, Pentt, American Axle, Fujikura, Lala, Mr. Lucky, Mazda Logi, RSB, Lyrba, Novatec, Gayosso, Fanasa, Adecco, Grupo Reyma, Pibsa, Mabe, Proteinas y Oleicos, Grupo Prodensa, Comercializadora Oxxo, Capistrano, Corporativo Transporta, Novatec, Ecodeli, Yazbek, among other
This program integrates, operates and develops job matching systems so that the job-seeking population can connect in an agile and timely manner by holding events that enable meetings between job seekers and job offerers.
The State Government, through the SDES, is committed to working to improve the conditions that allow more jobs to be opened, so that more and more Guanajuato residents can access better employment that allows them to improve their quality of life.
