Guanajuato estimates 8 billion dollars in investment

The State Government creates the conditions for companies to generate new jobs

With a capital of 7,030 million dollars and the generation of 57,643 committed jobs, 142 investment projects have been completed in Guanajuato in the advancement of the present State Administration.

State Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo managed to exceed the goal of 5 billion dollars within 1 year of concluding his administration and it is estimated that by the end of this year this figure will reach 8 billion dollars.

The head of the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development -SDES- Ramon Alfaro Gomez specified the benefits of investments for the creation of:

• Opportunities, growth, infrastructure, transfer of knowledge, diversification, improvement of quality of life standards, among other

Alfaro added that the installation and expansion of new national and foreign companies is a means to stimulate the growth of local Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises -MSMEs- while creating a competitive ecosystem that drives innovation.

Alfaro Gomez added that investments have been made from different sectors as diverse as:

• Automotive-auto parts, construction, plastic, agro-food, industry in general, services, textile-clothing, leather-footwear-supply, metal mechanics and new technologies

These projects have been installed in these municipalities:

• Abasolo, Apaseo el Grande, Ciudad Manuel Doblado, Celaya, Cortazar, Doctor Mora, Irapuato, Leon de los Aldama, Ocampo, Salamanca, San Jose Iturbide, San Luis de la Paz, San Miguel de Allende, Silao de la Victoria, Uriangato, Valle de Santiago and Villagran
