United for security in Guanajuato

The three levels of Government work together for the Guanajuatenses

Actions are increased to improve security while Federal, State and Municipal authorities agree on a joint plan to face crime

The Federal and State Government, agreed to reinforce the joint actions between security corps of the three levels of Government (Federal, State and Municipal) to reduce crime and to guarantee peace and social harmony of Guanajuatenses.

The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo presided over a security reunion where it was agreed to increase the coordinated work between institutions to prevent high impact criminal acts.

Operations coordinated

As part of the increased cooperation, it was informed, the State Secretary of Government will coordinate operations with the Secretary of Health of Guanajuato and the 46 Municipalities to conducts a revision of the rehabilitation centers that operate in Guanajuato, which should comply with all the norms, otherwise they will be closed.

Citizens can report the rehabilitation centers that may be working in an ilegal form to the numbers 911 or 089. The State General Attorney office will be part of this actions.

It was also agreed that the Municipal and State Police Corps and Federal Institutions will reinforce the security filters in all the State.

Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, informed that he had a conversation with the Federal Secretary of Government, Olga Sanchez Cordero, and they both agreed on the importance of joining efforts between the State and the Federation to face the problema of insecurity.

“The coordination of all levels of Government is necessary to bring down the ocurrance of violent acts, and in this reunion of Federal, State and Municipal organisms that work for the security, we have agreed to reinforce the actions and operations for peace in Guanajuato”, said the Governor of Guanajuato.

In the reunion, held at the -C5i- the Center of Coordination, Command, Control, Communication, Computing and Inteligence, also were present the Brigadier General DEM, Commander of the XVI Military Zone, Guillermo Briseno Lobera; the Secretary of Government of Guanajuato, Luis Ernesto Ayala Torres; and the Secretary of Security of Guanajuato, Alvar Cabeza de Vaca Appendini, the State General Attorney, Carlos Zamarripa Aguirre, and also the Mayor of Irapuato, Ricardo Ortiz Gutierrez.

Also in the event were the Brigadier General DEM, Hector Ortiz Caletty, coordinator of the National Guard in Guanajuato; Maria del Carmen Camacho Hernandez, Head of the Office of the National Center of Intelligence; David Eugenio Carmona Alvarez, the delegate of Mexico’s General Attorney; the Commissioner, Raul Garcia Perez, State Coordinator of the Direction of Security on the Highways and Strategic Premises of the National Guard; the Under Secretary of Security of the State, Martin Octavio Luque Lucio and Pedro Alberto Cortes Zavala, Secretary of Citizen’s Security of Irapuato.
