What began as a high school project, today is a real company that generates jobs and also takes care of the environment.
Küil Sustainable Writing, was born in a high school student, who through a project wanted to raise awareness about the three R, reduce, reuse and recycle.
Daniel Piceno, general director of Küil, Sustainable Writing, said that this project involves the circular economy. “Today we do sustainable writing that prevents the cuting of trees, which involves the whole issue of circular economy, green economy and above all we promote values in our society,” he said.
Küil, is a company that also seeks to promote good eating habits, care for natural resources and care in our micro environment.
With the support of COFOCE, Daniel has managed to take his products beyond the borders, as he assured that although they are beginning to export, they are already taking their products to USA, through digital platforms and to London through Mexican clients who have managed to bring Mexican culture with the color collections where they are well valued.
“In Latin America we have a great acceptance and now we are doing some paperwork with COFOCE, to be able to make export plans,” said Daniel.
Daniel said that one of the great challenges that he has faced when exporting is cost competition, since in Mexico they mostly look for affordable costs even if it is not the best quality, however, the support, accompaniment and impulse that COFOCE has given them has helped them offer quality, authenticity and Mexican culture and history through ecological pencils.
