The Governor of Guanajuato and his entourage met with representatives of the AB Medical company, producer of ‘V-TUBE’ blood collection tubes that have 20% of the South Korean market.
“Its managers are confirming an investment of 26.33 million dollars to open a plant in Guanajuato, generating 250 jobs; I am sure that AB Medical will be very successful in Guanajuato, because it is the ideal platform to conquer the entire American continent”, said the Governor.
AB Medical is a leading company in the medical supplies industry in Korea; they currently serve the markets of Paraguay, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Suriname, Malaysia, Vietnam and Mexico, where there is a growing market to serve Latin America and North America.
They offer the technology of ‘V-TUBE’ collectors that give the best result in blood tests and are currently sold in South East Asia, Central Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America.
Young-Gyun Kim, CEO of AB Medical, thanked the Governor for his visit and said that it is an important reinforcement for his business strategy.
“We serve markets in other parts of the world, including Latin America; and getting to Guanajuato is a good investment. Thank you very much,” said Mr. Kim.
