Local companies that participated in the business meetings of the first edition of ‘Guanajuato buy Guanajuato’, projected sales of more than 102 million pesos.
The administration of State Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo works jointly with the industrial and business sectors to achieve the strengthening of Guanajuato’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
In this event organized by the Confederation of Industrial Chambers –CONCAMIN- BAJIO in coordination with the Secretary for Sustainable Economic Development –SDES-, it was possible to have companies meet and capitalize on business opportunities between large companies, government agencies and local companies, explained the head of SDES Ramon Alfaro Gomez.
Local companies have a high potential to supply both the government and companies in various sectors, among them:
Medicines and pharmaceutical products, cleaning services, surveillance, protection and security, food products, machinery and industrial equipment, synthetic fibers , rubber, plastics, electrical and electronic material, communication and telecommunications equipment, agrochemicals, administrative consulting services and information technology, among other

Alfaro Gomez highlighted the trust between the private initiative and the State Government to work in a coordinated manner to increase the competitiveness of local business with strategic alliances that result in the creation of wealth, generation and preservation of jobs.
In the progress of the present State administration:
- More than 36 thousand MSMEs have been served with marketing, financing, advisory, consultancy and business technical assistance schemes, as well as with fairs, events, forums and business meetings to increase their competitiveness and their presence in the market
Additionally, a Labor Link was carried out with the participation of 200 companies in the region that will be offering more than 4,000 vacancies; as well as seminars, workshops, conferences and panels for the integration, professionalization and linking of the attendees.
