In Guanajuato we work to open more spaces and opportunities for cultural and artistic expressions of young people, as well as sports practice and physical activity, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
“These are activities that, in addition to enriching their development, keep them away from addictions and antisocial behaviors,” said the State President when leading the ordinary session of the State Council for the Development and Care of Youth of the State of Guanajuato.
The council promotes the transversal participation of all social sectors and Government institutions, in attending to the needs and demands of Guanajuato’s youth, said the Governor.
“Their points of view and contributions enrich the work that the government promotes to guarantee the young population access to opportunities for their development,” said the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo thanked the members of the council for participating and contributing to this important purpose, because today more than ever, we need the young focused on positive things such as education and responsible participation, and free of drugs and addictions.
RodrIguez Vallejo recognized the General Director of JUVENTUDES GTO, Antonio Navarro, as well as his entire team, for the results at the Ibero-American Congress for the Empowerment of Youth.
He commented that it was two days of activities, full of energy and intensity that the youth imprints on their participation.
“I am happy to see that the objectives of this congress were achieved. Above all, to see that we are advancing in the task of empowering the young,” he added.
The commitment, said the Governor, is to give them the tools, training and knowledge so they take advantage of their strengths and talents, their leadership and ability to change the world.
The Director of JUVENTUDES GTO, Antonio Navarro, presented the results of the Ibero-American Congress for the Empowerment of Youth, and the Youth Attention Model 2023.
