Guanajuato proudly becomes the epicenter of innovation and entrepreneurship, by bringing together the CONCAMIN Annual Meeting of Industrialists and the Hannover Messe ITM.
Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, lead the ceremony of the Night of Industrialists that was held at the Bicentennial Theater.
“What a pleasure and what an honor that Guanajuato is once again the industrial capital of Mexico. Everyone is welcome to this blessed land that is the place where Mexico was born,” said the Governor.
Rodríguez Vallejo said that new ideals of development, innovation and knowledge will emerge here, which will build a nation of the future. Proposals for a new industry in a new world scenario. Ideas and reflections that always put us one step ahead.
“Today we enthusiastically welcome great business leaders, innovation leaders and industry 4.0 leaders from Mexico and the world. They are welcomed by a State where ideas and innovation are part of our DNA”, said the Governor.
The Governor thanked CONCAMIN for trusting Guanajuato to host its Annual Meeting of Industrialists for the second time.
Rodríguez Vallejo also thanked the entrepreneurs, the innovators and the dreamers, those who transform the world with their actions, and who are here today to visit the “Industrial Transformation Mexico” of Hannover Messe, the most important industrial fair in Mexico and of Latin America in Industry 4.0.
“When we talk about the CONCAMIN Annual Meeting of Industrialists, we are talking about the most important business event in Mexico. Since 1918, when CONCAMIN was founded, its company captains have been the engine of the industrialization of our country and have promoted the development of our society”, noted the Governor.
“I want to tell you that Guanajuato is the ideal place for businessmen and women to discuss ideas that lead us to build a better scenario for our country and for Mexican families”

“Here we have the people who are driving and leading the digital revolution, Mindfacture and the global transition to clean energy”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
The Governor stressed that the ITM has two very important aspects this year:
- First, that this year it will reach a very important level of consolidation as a lever for the industrial development of Guanajuato and Mexico
- Second, that this year will be fundamental for the industrial transition to renewable energies and sustainable production
Today the present and the future are:
- Clean energies
- Electro-mobility
- Industry 4.0 and
- Mindfacture
And with ITM we continue to advance on this path because the digital, energy and sustainable transition is already here, said the Governor.
“Today more than ever we continue to bring more world to Guanajuato, and bring more Guanajuato to the world. Because here we bet on the present and the future. To education and knowledge. To innovation and entrepreneurship”, he pointed out.
“Welcome, Guanajuato is your home,” said the Governor.
The President of the National CONCAMIN, Jose Abugaber Andonie, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deutsche Messe, Jochen Köckler, welcomed the participants to these events of national and international relevance in industry 4.0.
