“Today we are honoring the loyalty, example and commitment to Mexico of our Armed Forces; it is a tribute to the human face of the Mexican Army, of which we are very proud”, said Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, during the inauguration of the Military Exhibition “The Great Force of Mexico”.
This exhibition will be at the Irapuato Inforum from August 4 to 28 and with the aim of highlighting the social programs, cultural and educational activities with society, carried out by the Ministry of National Defense.
“The Mexican Army is a symbol of loyalty, discipline and patriotism for all of us, it is always present to serve our country with courage, courage and dignity.
With these actions, the work of the Armed Forces is better known; cooperation ties are strengthened with State and Municipal Authorities to strengthen civil-military relations, in addition to creating closeness and empathy with society in general.
The exhibition:
- 14 modules or stands
- 3 domes
- A dog training track
- A children’s obstacle course
- A horseback riding area for the Mexican Army and Air Force
The stands installed show:
- Military Parachuting, Special Forces, Military Education, Military Industry, Plan DN-III-E, Transmissions, Tactical Medicine, Mexican Air Force, Artillery, Cavalry, National Guard, Military Livestock Farm, Military Police and the Sedena Bookstore
The interactive areas offer:
- Children’s obstacle courses and dog training courses, a zip line, a rappelling tower, a climbing tower, parachute opening, a photographic exhibition, horseback riding, an equestrian exhibition, and of course, the exhibition of artillery pieces, aircraft, military vehicles, armored vehicles and the Plan DN-III-E.
There is an exhibition and sale of GTO Brand products, and a stand for the promotion and processing of the Guanajuato Contigo Si card.
This traveling exhibition began in 2019 and has been visited by more than 6.5 million people, after being presented in Mexico City, and in various cities in states such as Querétaro, Puebla, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, State of Mexico and Guanajuato.
“We hope to meet expectations in a participatory environment and achieve the primary objective of being closer to society and contributing to the recreation of Guanajuato citizens,” said General Francisco Ortega Luna, Commander of the XII Military Region.
