The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, presided over the graduation ceremony of the Celaya, Irapuato, Leon I and Leon II schools of the “First Light Battalion” Bivalent Militarized Baccalaureate, generation 2021-2024.

One of the most important legacies that we are leaving as a government are the Militarized Bivalent High Schools. Because we all know that education is the key that opens all the doors of development, said the Governor to the graduating cadets and their families present at this ceremony.

On this day, 754 students graduated with the 2021-2024 Generation: 185 from Celaya, 183 from Irapuato, 204 from the Leon I Campus, and 182 from Leon II.

Also, Governor of Guanajuato received recognition and a jacket with the initials BBM, from the cadets.

As part of this ceremony, in addition to the certificates to graduates, recognitions were given to the best averages by specialty of each campus.

“At we close our Administration, we have met the goal of creating 6 Militarized High Schools: in Celaya, Irapuato, Acambaro, Dolores Hidalgo and two in Leon. They remain as a legacy and are a source of pride for me. I am sure that you will build a better Guanajuato, a Guanajuato that continues to be the Greatness of Mexico,” said the Governor.

The 6 BBM campuses are a reality and to date 1,159 students have successfully completed their studies, the 754 graduated yesterday add to this number, certifying in technical careers such as Cybersecurity, Civil Protection and Citizen Security.

The “Militarized High School” was created at the initiative of Governor Diego Sinhue as a transversal Security and Education strategy; with the firm conviction of achieving the reconfiguration of the social fabric.

In 2019, two BBM campuses began operations, in Leon and Irapuato. At the end of the current Administration, the goal of creating 6 schools has been met. The BBM offers an innovative option tu study at the upper secondary level, through comprehensive training with quality education, based on principles, values ​​and discipline, which is part of the security and social peace strategy as a commitment of the State Government.
