Disney Company filled families with smiles in the edition of a fair that finishes successfully as the best family fair
The Leon State Fair registers an economic impact of 3.5 billion pesos

The Leon State Fair concluded the 2024 edition with great success by registering the attendance of more than 6 million 400 thousand people, of which 70% were local and 30% were foreigners.
At the presentation of results at the Poliforum Leon, Juan Jose Alvarez Brunel, Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato, representing Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, and with Mayor of Leon, Alejandra Gutierrez; and David Novoa Toscano, President of the Council of the Fair, highlighted the actions carried out to achieve a Fair with great attractions for visitors.
“The Fair is a great reference in the country. This range of actors -society, entrepreneurs, City and State Government- come together to successfully carry out an event that has fulfilled great attractions for visitors and this represents the pride that we Guanajuatenses have,” said the Secretary of Tourism.
This year, an economic impact of 3.5 billion pesos was preliminarily registered. In addition, Guanajuatense producers who gathered in the Guanajuato Pavilion registered sales for more than 100 million pesos; in this space, attendees found more than 6,500 GTO Brand products from more than 750 participating economic units.
“We are very proud of our Fair. The Governor has been clear, he has wanted, through this demonstration that gives us identity, a legacy of union, work together, and of being able to achieve those dreams that, without a doubt, build the pillar for the development of the society to continue to walk in that area and the benefit is clear,” said Alvarez Brunel.
For 26 days, the fair -which this year had the State of Queretaro as a guest- filled with smiles the attendees who visited the different Worlds, highlighting the Musical World with a billboard in the “Mazda Forum” worthy of musical festivals of international stature.
For the second consecutive year, the most important entertainment brand in the world was presented: Disney Company, which filled with magic and fantasy with 3 amazing international shows.
“A magical and epic adventure”, a unique exhibition that quickly became one of the favorites of lovers of science fiction and the Star Wars universe, where there were figures, themed spaces, life-size ships, collectibles from Episode I, and much more.
This Leon State Fair culminates with a successful season full of never-before-seen shows, from multiple award-winning artists, with international careers that are now part of the history of this event. Positioning ourselves once more as the best family fair in Mexico.
