Fondos Guanajuato has been a hotbed of innumerable success stories as it has also been a key player in the economic development of our State in the last 30 years.
‘Clean Energy’
This is how it was described by the Governor of the State, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, when he headed the Guanajuato Funds 30th anniversary ceremony, where he announced the new “Clean Energy” Program.
Well equipped
The Governor explained that this program consists of granting credits to Mipymes, whether persons or companies, whose business activity is artisanal, agro-industrial, industrial, commercial and services, so that they install solar panels.
“We are going to allocate an initial purse of 200 million pesos to finance photovoltaic energy generation projects for Mipymes”, the Governor said.
Rodríguez Vallejo said that there are several benefits that are generated with this action:
- First; there will be great economic savings, because they will pay less on the electricity bill
- Second; with these savings, they can better cope with the environment and economic difficulties
- Third; by doing more with less, they become more competitive
- Fourth; by being more competitive, there are greater possibilities of progress for the owner and for their workers
- Fifth; they become a socially responsible company that cares for the environment
- Sixth; they promote the use of clean energy, joining the world trend and giving them the possibility of obtaining more clients, explained the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo pointed out that Fondos Guanajuato will be offering two types of financing:
- Major, for an amount ranging from 1 to 6 million pesos
- Minor, for an amount ranging from 50 thousand to 1 million pesos.
With this program, Guanajuato once again places itself at the national forefront by supporting the use of clean energy, noted the Governor, who said that it is a pleasure to commemorate 30 years of the Guanajuato Fund.

“Today, it is an emblematic institution of our state. And during all these years it has also experienced an intense evolution. Today it is a solid and professional institution that understands the new times. In these three decades, Fondos Guanajuato has been a key player in the economic development of our state”, noted the Governor of Guanajuato.
