The People’s Government will allocate more than 26 million pesos to improve the quality of life of families in Ladrilleras del Refugio and surrounding areas.

As part of this effort, work began on the construction of 12 MK2 eco-friendly kilns, which will be added to the 3 kilns already operating in the area. Furthermore, progress is being made on compiling documentation to benefit community residents with productive projects and economic reactivation programs.

Following assemblies, community agreements and field work led by the Secretary of Government, Jorge Daniel Jimenez Lona, in coordination with the Secretaries of Water and Environment, Economy, Public Works and Health, as well as with the municipality of Leon and leaders of the brick producers, work formally began in the community of Ladrilleras del Refugio.
